This is Green Curry Noodle Bowl from the latest Happy Pear book, The Happy Pear – Recipes for Happiness. It was nice and definitely a recipe I may go back to in the future but compared to the other noodle things I’ve cooked recently, not as mind blowingly good.

This is vegan banana bread from Cooking on a Bootstrap, with some added frozen blackberries thrown in. It’s rather nice, wholesome, in that it’s not overly loaded with sugar, has some wholemeal flour and being vegan, obviously doesn’t have butter in (you can use any oil in the recipe, I used rapeseed as I had some spare). So many ‘healthy’ banana bread recipes are a bit bleurgh, so it’s really nice to find one that gets the balance right.
